Conference Weekend

The last 36 hours have been a blast. We had our family get together which was a blast. We just met at The Mayan in Sandy after the Saturday afternoon session of conference. That restaurant is so fun. The kids loved the divers and we really just enjoyed each others company and talked and laughed and had fun. We got a piece of huge family news while we were there too. Brace yourself. My sister Vicki J is pregnant!! I am so excited, it is gonna be her and Logan's first kid, which is a big deal with all her back problems. So pray for her that all will go well. But it is exciting none the less, because I'm gonna be Aunt Frizz times 6. Which makes me happy because my nieces and nephews are my favorite people in the whole world. Literally.

That night the boys all went to priesthood session and all of us girls just had a girl's night plus the nephews, but that was ok. We had a good time. We just talked, worked out my swimming suit situation for Powell, and then we watched Steel Magnolias. Classic. I love that show, I hope that I have friends like that to grow old with. Then Kristi, Melanie and I ran some errands and I'm pretty sure that people in the Harmon's parking lot thought we were drunk. But don't fret, we weren't, we just know how to have a really good time.

This morning Veej, Logan, Buckwheat and I all went the Music and the Spoken Word and the morning session of conference. We had our usual seats that are so fun because it's right by where the authorities all walk in. It was an excellent session. For breakfast Mom and Buckwheat teamed up to make caramel rolls. The world's most delicious tradition. Christmas morning and General Conference, those are the only times we get them. Yum. After conference we just had family dinner and then split. It was a delightful time and now I feel ready to take this week on. Ready, Set, Go!!

I'm so jealous you got to go to conference! And your seats are really good! Plus, I enjoyed your orange and black outfit in honor of halloween/october.
