A Whole New P-Town

So yesterday was a sad day. We all had to move out of our apartment which, we loved. It is a perfect little apartment that was just barely remodelid on the inside so it was nice and new. My roommate Alejandra Sayavedra and I moved from our aparment #312 to #304 because they are renovating the boys' aparments over the summer so they needed somewhere to stay. It is really different sharing a room with her and not Katie, not bad, just different. Katie is pretty much my siamese twin, partner in crime, other half, etc. We have been attached at the hip since we moved in together in September. Last night I was super bored because after moving all day, I went to dinner with Shawn and Will and then we caught up on American Idol for a few hours but I didn't want to over-stay my welcome so I left and went to unpack some more. Shortly after, I needed to check something on the internet so I went to Nate's apartment (since we don't have it in the new apartment yet.). This was fun because he just graduated and I hadn't seen him since all the ceremonies so we got to talk about it for a few minutes before he had to run off to a party. After this however, it was only about 11:00 pm. I went to the new apartment and starting working on stuff and my new roommate, Jackie Hicken came home. She lived there before with 3 of her best friends so I think it will be hard for her to accept new people living there but hopefully it will all go over smoothly, if not, I really will only be there until June 1st and then I go to camp so I will only be there on the weekends. Anyways, things are very different now. Katie is gone and Marissa is gone, my other best friend down here, but she's coming to visit soon so that will be good. I am in a new apartment, with new roommates, new work schedule and no classes, also new for the first time in years. So that's my story, sad, I know but I'm sure it will get better. As long as Will, Shawn and Nate don't all get sick of me!! ;)

Dinna Group

I currently particpate in a dinner group here at BYU, it's awesome. There are 8 of us and we cook Monday-Thursday so I really only have to cook once every two weeks, it is great. Tonight is my night to cook. I am making Ranch Parmesian Chicken, Broccoli Salad (I know, it sounds disgusting but it is actually delicious.), Frog-Eyed Salad (Something else that sounds disgusting, but is, as you guessed, delicioius.), Mashed Potatoes and Brown Sugar Pudding for dessert. (It's not really pudding, I haven't figured out why they call it that.) Anyways, our group is hilarious. There are three guys, Nate Kartchner, Shawn Saunders, and Will Duncan, they are outrageously funny. Then there are five girls. Me, my roommate Katie Burrell, our next door neighbors Andrea Richens and TaeLynn Eastman as well as Besty Sieber who lives in Chattam Town, she's great. We are all super goofy and love to bask in it. They have become some of my best friends down here at BYU and I'm going to be really sad to see half of the group leave in two weeks due to the end of the semester. We have nicknames for each day of the week.
