Finals Week

Finals week.  Some dread it, I love it.  I would take finals any day over midterms.  With midterms you still have to go to class, do homework, do all the readings, and still find time to study extra AND test.  With finals week, all you do is study... test ... repeat.  My finals went pretty well, my best was this afternoon, and I freaked out.  I finished my test, turned it in to the workers, and waited to see my score on the screen.  My number popped up, and words popped up...it took a minute to connect the dots.  That means that I did really well!!  They computer posted a "Way to Go!" next to my score, it was one of my most exciting BYU moments.   Ask Katie, I wigged when I got home.
Anyways, some fun stuff happened this week, I went to a small party on tuesday night.  It was kind of nice to just take a night off and kick it and see some friends I hadn't seen in a while.  Then last night, I took a last minute trip to Salt Lake.  One of my best friends from camp this summer got her mission call.  Molly "Check" DiFrancesco is going to the California San Bernadino Mission, enlish speaking.  She leaves on the 28th of January, crazy quick, but I'm super excited for her because she has been waiting so long!
Anyways, that's all.  I'm done with finals and ready to go home in the morning!  I will be there for 2 full weeks, that hasn't happened since I moved to college a year and a half ago, it'll be great.

Take Two

So I originally started this blog 7 months ago for the sake of jotting down my weekly experiences at camp when I was home on the weekends, knowing that I wouldn't have much journaling time up there.  Well, it turns out that didn't work out very well.  I was so worn out by the end of each week of camp that my weekends typically consisted of falling asleep early on Friday nights, sleeping in until one on saturdays, upload the weeks pictures onto my computer and then doing laundry and possibly hanging out with Shawn or Marissa if they were in town.  And then more sleeping, church and back up to camp Sunday afternoon.  Thus, no blog posts about camp.
I am trying again though, because I am still terrible at writing in my journal, and I don't even have a legit excuse, so I am going to try this blog business again and see if I have any more luck.  I'm not sure what all I will post about.  It will more than likely be slightly scatter-brained, as most things I do are.  However, I will include current events in life for sure, that is part of the title of this blog.  I think I will throw in some random stories from camp as they pop into my mind, just because there are some great ones.  Like Checko, and ants in her pants.  Yup, that one will be up here shortly for sure.
So there is a re-introduction.  Wish me luck, because I'm giving this a wo!!  I even made my page cute so hopefully I can keep it up!!
