Summer's Final Hurrah

Me, Dan, Katherine and Matt have been trying to go camping for the last couple weeks and we haven't been able to pull it off. However, this last Wednesday there was an opportunity and we took it. We went up late because I got off work at 9:30 so we hit the road shortly after that. We went up squaw peak to these random little campgrounds that were perfect for our needs. We did tinfoil dinners with hamburger, carrots, onions and potatoes, they were delicious.
We played a game of sorry and just kinda chilled around the fire and then we slept out under the stars, which is an activity that I love. It was weird this summer not sleeping out under the stars in the mountains after doing it at least once a week last year, but it was great, it was a beautiful night for it. In the morning the boys made french toast and we had eggs and bacon, it was fabulous! :D

camping was way fun! And just so you know, I was holding the roasting stick in between my legs because I was trying to get everyone their s'more toppings. It just looks kind of funny! Maybe next summer we will brave a 2 night camping trip together!
