Today was the first day of school. After 8 gruelling hours of class time, I realized just how great this semester is going to be. I also realized that I have sold my soul to school and work for the semester.
This is a season to be strong. It is a time to move forward without hesitation, knowing well the meaning, the breadth, and the importance of our mission. It is a time to do what is right regardless of the consequences that might follow. We have nothing to fear. God is at the helm. He will overrule for the good of the work.
President Hinckley
One of the purposes of mortal life is to prove to God that we will keep His commandments when that takes courage.
President Eyring
I will not doubt, I will not fear; God's love and strength are always near. His promised gift helps me to find an inner strength and peace of mind. I give the Father willingly my trust, my prayers, humility. His Spirit guides; his love assures that fear departs when faith endures.
Hymn #128
Allow Me To Explain
You caught me. I am an addicted blogger. I am absolutely awful at journaling so this is my attempt at doing said activity. So, as a result, it is a fairly scattered blog. My life is pretty much all here, the funny stuff, the spiritual stuff, random things about me that I think people in my future might want to know about and goals that I am currently working on. Enjoy.
