Goodbye UTA...Hello Yaris

My UTA bus pass expires on September 15th, but I am retiring it early due to the fact that I finally got my new car!!! I will no longer have to deal with creepy guys on the bus and fend them off with a fake engagement ring and earbuds that don't really work. I won't have to be packed in with 30 smelly bodies on a bus late at night after class. No more trax downtown alone in the dark and no more having to leave for work 50 mintues before I'm even supposed to start. I am grateful that I was able to have some sort of transportation for the summer, but I'm so excited to have my car.

It is a blue '08 Toyota Yaris and it is a stick. It is sooooooooo stinkin' cute. I took it up to salt lake to Froot's car wash and had it cleaned out really well. She looks great. I've yet to give her a name, but it is a she that is temporarily just called "Baby". I registered her this morning and she's got her plates and everything. I broke her in by putting 200 miles on her today, it was easier to do than I thought. She took me to the airport, home, Checko's work, Mango's house and a couple other spots. It was great. Oh ya, and those 200 miles only used a quarter tank of gas. :D
