Blake Lewis

I feel the need to blog.  Checko hasn't sent me the pictures from Boondocks yet, so you get this.  I have a secret, (but really not so secret) love for Blake Lewis from American Season 6 I believe.  It's not the crazy teenage girl obsession where there are pictures plastered all over my walls and I shriek when his song comes on while shopping in the mall.  No.  Not at all.  I just think his music is so fun and different.  It's kind of refreshing sometimes.  So here are a couple clips for you to enjoy. His album "Audio Day Dream" is the only entire album I've ever talked myself into downloading off of iTunes.

I love these songs. I think he is great and I really enjoy his stuff. He's one of the few that is better live I think than on the record.
Also, just for the record, Chris and I broke up Monday. Big Shocker. It's been a long time coming and even though we both knew that it was going to happen, neither one of us wanted to do it so we finally started talking about on Monday afternoon and he said things were better when we were just friends so I said ok, let's be just friends then. I'm glad. Part of me still likes him, I'll get over that, but it just wasn't worth it. We disagreed on everything, he's leaving for either a mission or to Afghanistan soon, but more importantly, he just didn't treat me great, which is what made it hard. He was very good in the sense that he would take me out frequently, give me rides if I needed them, buy stuff for me occasionally, but the big things that matter to me are being treated like a daughter of God and showing respect for women and love for everybody around us, because no matter what color, weight, gender or age they may be, they are still children of our Heavenly Father and there is no reason to treat them as anything less, especially based on just a simple physical judgment. Those are the things that really matter to me. So Chris, if by some chance you are reading this, it was fun while it lasted for the most part, but I'm glad we can be just friends again.
