We decided to explore some of Idaho's trails and had a bit of an adventure. We started on what I thought was a trail to Mesa Falls, but was really a trail into bear gulch. What was supposed to be flat and easy, turned into a very steep trail filled with deer, moose, elk and BEAR tracks. Once we saw the bear tracks, we turned around called it good.

From there, I offered to take Davy and Jami down the one mile flat trail (the one we were originally looking for) and show them the Lower Mesa Falls. We turned it into a little trail run and made good time to the overlook. It was pretty, but we decided we wanted to get a little closer look, so we did!

Once we got back, the little boys (and Danielle) were tired. We took them for a brief tour of the BYU-I campus and then we were off to Frontier Pies. This was always one of Troy's favorite restaurants and there are not many left so we filled up on navajo tacos. It was so fun to have them visit and to show them around our little town of Rexburg, we always love visitors and look forward to having company!
