It's A Party To Pray

I just went through some of my notes from conference and at first glance, I thought I had written "it's a party to pray." I thought, "yikes, I don't think that's what they said." I looked closer and it says "it's a duty to pray" by Elder Keith McMullin. That's more like it. Along with duty he said "Duty does not require perfection, just diligence." Excellent.

LDS General Conference. Summed up in one word: AWESOME. Defined by Webster's as inspiring awe. You guys, it was incredible!! Every time general conference starts, I like to go into it with a few questions or things to ponder while they are speaking. I had the opportunity to go to the first session of conference on Saturday morning, it's a nice perk of having a dad in the Tab Choir. McKay and I went up and left the conference center as high as kites, it was such an inspired session, the whole conference was actually, and always is. It was amazing how the three big things I had been pondering were all tied together throughout the conference leaving me feeling so at peace. The main thing that I took away from conference was family. Families families families. It was wonderful. Really. If you haven't heard it all yet, (which I haven't even heard all of it yet) listen to it here.

McKay and Me at conference

I love general conference so much. It was so great to listen to the words of our inspired leaders in this Gospel. The church is true and right now I just want to shout it to the world. It was also really nice to have it fall on Easter because there was a nice added focus on our Savior, with some of my all time favorite hymns. In honor of Easter, I thought I'd put up this video.
